Until you turn 35u Week of your pregnancy, you are almost 8 months pregnant.

Congratulations! You are ready to reach the finish line. You only have a month left before you hold your baby in your arms.

Right now your little one inside is getting plumper and is slowly settling into the head down position to make a journey out of your womb next month. Although you may feel aches and cramps due to the activities of the little champ inside, the best part is that you should start counting kicks and days.

Here’s everything you need to know about your baby and your body at 35u week of your pregnancy:

  • See the developments in your baby at 35u week of your pregnancy

Your little one is about the size of a honeydew melon. He or she is about 5.25 pounds and is about 18.19 inches long. In addition to your baby’s weight and size, other changes in your baby are:

  • Your little one’s brain is developing at an amazing speed: Your little one’s brain is constantly growing and maturing. The cerebral cortex becomes more complex, which is vital for understanding your language and thoughts.
  • Your little one’s respiratory system is developing: If you have an ultrasound during this time, you will notice that your baby is making breathing movements inside. This means their respiratory system is also maturing and there may be enough surfactant in their lungs to support lung function.
  • Your little one’s digestive system is fully developed: Rcome on, your child consumes what you consume during this period of your life. He or she would absorb all the nutrients from what you eat and grow healthy. This shows that your baby’s digestive system is already fully developed.

On the ultrasound, your baby’s skin will also be visible. You will notice that baby skin becomes less translucent and wrinkled by the time you reach 35u week. In addition, the baby’s kidneys and liver have also started to function gradually.

Isn’t that fun and exciting?

  • See what changes are happening in your body this week

Due to the changes to your baby while you’re cuddling it in the womb and the rising pregnancy hormones, your body will also undergo quite a few changes this week. While you’re counting the kicks, feeling the movements, and counting down the days, see what changes are happening in your body this week:

  • Frequent urination: As the baby takes the head-down position and moves down into the pelvic area, you will feel a lot of pressure on the uterus and bladder. As a result of the pressure, you may feel the urge to urinate frequently.
  • Numbness in the pelvis: After the baby comes down and getting ready for a trip out, in addition to feeling the pressure in the bladder, you can feel the pressure in the pelvis. Because of this, you will have a numb feeling there.
  • You have problems with digestion: As the baby grows inside, it takes up the entire womb. He or she also has everything you have. Therefore, there are chances that the food may not be digested properly, during this week of your pregnancy.
  • Occasional headaches and backaches: Due to hormonal changes, pregnancy insomnia and anxiety about your little one (until then you can bring your child into this world) and fetal development, occasional headaches and backaches are common during this time. week.
  • Hemorrhoids: Due to growing pregnancy, developing fetus and pregnancy constipation. you will feel a lot of pressure not only in the pelvic area, but also in the anus and rectum. The result is hemorrhoids or painful pregnancy piles. They protrude from the anus causing pain and blood.
  • Braxton Hicks contraction: These are contractions of the uterus that can be confused with labor pain. While some women may not feel them, these “false” contractions can be differentiated from real contractions by the fact that they are irregular.

But, there is nothing to feel irritated or worried or afraid about. Your problems will have solutions.

  • Ways to cope with changes in your body at 35u week

Like the other stages of your pregnancy, it is necessary to visit your doctor this week as well. Besides, you need to figure out how to deal with this week’s physical changes:

  • You can hire a job coach to get emotional and physical support from him or her.
  • Talking to new moms and expectants about your pregnancy challenges and fetal changes during this week and sharing your stressors will go a long way.
  • Use a pregnancy pillow to get a comfortable sleeping position.
  • Keep your hospital bags packed as you may go into labor prematurely.
  • Stay active (do Kegels)
  • Write a diary about your pregnancy
  • Take a warm bath. It will reduce headache and back pain.
  • Get a prenatal massage
  • Take care of your skin
  • Stay hydrated. Drink fruit juices (Reduce caffeine consumption)
  • Have nutritious food
  • Listen to soft music
  • Get plenty of rest. Maybe an afternoon nap would do you good.
  • Don’t forget to plan to tie your baby’s cord blood

It can be a little difficult, but this is the last leg of your pregnancy. Enjoy it to the fullest!
