Because I’m here for this recipe!

I’m a big fan of creams, sauces and dressings that are quick and easy to cook and completely enhance any dish.

This cream made with Greek yogurt requires just five simple ingredients and takes just five minutes to make, making it a breeze to prepare while providing a burst of bright, fresh flavor to any dish it’s added to.

Its vibrant flavor and smooth texture perfectly complements Mexican cuisine such as my Blackened Salmon Tacos, Grilled Chicken, Air Fryer Salmon or almost any fish recipe adding a creamy, fluffy touch.

As a registered dietitian, I also love that this avocado cream also adds a boost to overall satiety and satisfaction thanks to the nutritious fat and protein it contains.

Nutritional benefits of avocado

You might not be surprised to hear that as a registered dietitian, I love avocados. But hear me out.

Avocados are packed with essential vitamins and minerals such as vitamins C, E, K and B6, as well as folate, potassium and magnesiumall contribute to overall health.

They are filled with a healthy heart monounsaturated fats, which help lower bad cholesterol levels and reduce the risk of heart diseaseand is rich in fiber, which aids digestion and promotes satiety.

Tips from the expert (thaaaat is me!)

  1. I use a food processor to blend all the ingredients together, but if you don’t have one you can also use a high speed blender.
