Will people still have time to repent after rapture?
Years ago, I read the Left back rows by Jerry B. Jenkins and Tim Lahaye. The whole series has been captured as it describes what can happen in recent days.
They were based on the series of books on the prophecy of the last book of the Bible, Revelation. All the faithful to Jesus Christ had been grabbed – who met them to meet Him in the air. All the non -faithful “left behind”.
As a Christian born again, I look forward to today! However, I admit to pray for God to keep away until my family and friends gave their lives to Christ. I want to pass eternity with God and I, in heaven.
I wondered if the rapture happens before they accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior, would they still have the opportunity to be redeemed?
There are different views on the sequence of recent days. However, if we accept the order of the rapture, followed by sadness, then the second coming, there is hope for them.
Ecstasy
After that, we who are still alive and let them trap with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever (1 Thessaloniki 4:17, NIV).
Trial
Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the time of the trial that is going to come around the world to test the residents of the Earth (Revelation 3:10, NIV).
Second coming
Heavenly warrior defeats the beast
I saw the sky open and there in front of me was a white horse, whose rider is called faithful and true. With justice he judges and hires war. His eyes are like a fire, and there are many crowns in his head. He has a name written to him that no one knows, but himself. He is dressed in a robe sinking into the blood and his name is the Word of God. The armies of the sky followed him, leading to white horses and dressed in fine flax, white and clean. The exit from his mouth is a sharp sword to hit the nations. “He will rule them with an iron scepter.” It passes the wine of the mania of the wrath of God almighty. In his robe and thigh he has written this name: King of Kings and Lord of Lords (Revelation 19: 11-16, NIV).
Given this order, there is still hope. According to the revelation, these believers who are killed during the test will go to Paradise.
When he opened the fifth stamp, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been killed because of the word of God and the testimony they had maintained. 10 They shouted in a loud voice: “How long, sovereign gentleman, saint and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?” Then each of them received a white robe and were told to wait a little longer, until the full number of their colleagues, brothers and brothers were killed exactly as they had (Revelation 6: 9-11, NIV).
However, the test is not something that I want to go through – at least from my family. God’s rage will be spilled during this period.
It will be seven years of great and terrible disasters. There will be earthquakes and darkness (ed. 6:12), the stars will fall from heaven (ed. 6:13), the mountains and the islands will move (section 6:14), the ocean will become blood (ed. 8: 8-9) and the water will become poisoned (Rev. 8: 10-11).
It will be so scary that people will want to commit suicide. However, they will not be able to.
During these days people will seek death, but they will not find it. They would like to die, but death will escape them (9: 6, niv).
The good news?
According to David Jeremiah“Paradoxically, this (the test) will be a time of greatest pain and persecution that the world has ever seen, and it is also a time when it will become the largest wave of genuine conversions. This multitude of redeeming will come from those who were not yet disappointed at the time of the rapture.”
The rapture will be a brilliant day for the born believers. My prayer is that my family and friends will be included in this group. But if not, I pray that they will confess Jesus to be the Lord and their Savior during the test and to be saved for eternity.
