Embrace the season with these 6 healthy autumn habits! From nutritious recipes to outdoor activities, these ideas will help you stay well during the autumn months.

Hello October, my favorite month of all! With anniversaries and birthdays, October is always full of fun celebrations in our household. (It seems that half of our family was born in October – Birch and I, both of my nieces, and our brothers!)

Four Fall Birthdays!

October is also the beginning of the fourth and final quarter of the year and the beginning of the holiday season. It is often a time when our well -being and intentions are overlooked and placed in Backburner and it is notorious to be the time of delicious things – by the Halloween Candy (or the birthday cake for us) to thank the Boards Charcuterie, Christmas cookies and Christmas cookies.

Fall is my favorite season for many reasons.

More than New Year’s Eve, and more than spring cleaning, the autumn season is my time to restart, rejuvenate and re -think my healthiest routines.

I am sure that this feeling detects back to feelings at school I lived as a child. I like to go back to a routine.

And bringing some healthy habits of falling, turns me on for distant, dark months ahead. I think it’s the perfect time to adopt healthy habits that will keep you feeling activated and well throughout the season. As we move from the lazy summer days to the busiest fall routines, the incorporation of these six healthy lifestyles in your lifestyle can help you make the most of this beautiful time.

6 Healthy Habits for Falling

Here are six ways in which he rejuvenates my routine:

Setting up a breakfast alarm

During the summer, I tend to let myself sleep more. The rhythm of life is slower, school is out, and there are more holidays to restore my body clock. But with a school bus and rejection of the years to meet coming in the fall, we must be on a stricter timetable. Both boys should be over 7. These mornings are tumultuous enough to lead us to school in time.

In an effort to organize myself before the boys are up, I put myself in a program: early sleep at 9:30 (usually reading), alarm at 6:26 am. I spent some time to make my morning routine with my computer, then prepare for the day with my routine and say and drink coffee along the way, but with the two boys passing through 8am.

Drinking

In recent years, I have really been the focus of keeping alcohol for weekends and only special occasions. Fortunately, I found a lot of really big NA (non -alcoholic) drinks that are just as pleasant (I have a whole blog for the best beer and wine). I always tend to drink a little more during the summer, and this is my reminder that pumpkin beer and red wine do not lead to big sleep. Six of the green compass It was a great alternative to alcohol along with their Unwrap the gummies Because when you want to relax but not consume alcohol.

Happy Hour = Happy Body

Swap my skin care for drier air.

When we go from cold weather to hot, wet weather in summer, I have to make adjustments. And the same goes for entry into the coolest months of fall and winter, making adjustments to the colder, dryer! If you are like me and your beauty routine needs something different when the seasons begin to change, here are some tips for falling skin changes.

What about my skin and makeup:

  • More dryness
  • More blurry
  • Foundation facilities in folds
  • The skin feels tight from the afternoon

What I add:

All the fall smells

If you love a pumpkin candle, think of the brand you buy before you light it. Many candles are full of artificial aroma that may end up giving you a headache. Develop fragrance candles They are plants with a transparent list of ingredients so you know what burn or spray is non -toxic.

They are also made as aluminum inserts that you can recycle and throw a new one in the ceramic owner. The perfect host gift for the holiday season! These are so perfect for host gifts for the holiday season.

Bringing back the day of preparation.

So much of my summer are spent wings and traveled. The school season leads to more family meals and I try to use my school wisely to get dinner mostly cooked before getting birch up. While we love the use of meal kit for dinners, breakfast, meals and snacks they could use all TLCs. I also try to make a few things on the weekend – think of Granola, energy bars, muffins or roasted oats.

Preparation for my meals always goes too far. With colder weather, cravings for grilled vegetables come, so I hope to make a large frying pan (including sweet potato potatoes for boys). Having grilled vegetables in hand it helps to quickly gather low cooking meals and dinners.

Get fresh, crisp air for 30 minutes each day.

Ironically, in the summer I don’t walk so much because it’s so hot and wet out there! I don’t want to get up with dirty, wet clothes. During the perfect 70 -degree temperature days with a flashing sunshine that pops through the leaves this perfect time of year, there is no justification for not walking instead of driving, playing out in the yard and spending more time out. Extra winter is coming, so appreciate it before it leaves!

Extra habit: Wear “real” clothes!

Now that I have a beautiful young and extremely organized closet, I’m inspired to wear “real clothes” at least sometimes a week. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t feel guilty to wear most days, but I always feel so great when I put a cute sweater and do my makeup.

Here are some perfect fall pieces to get excited about the cooler weather:
