The holiday party season is here and we’re IN IT. If you’re hosting soon, a drink your guests will rave about is a must.

Don’t worry if alcohol isn’t your thing – holiday mocktails are just as pretty and fun to drink! And if you hectare Serving “adult” drinks, it never hurts to offer a non-alcoholic beverage option for anyone exploring sober curiosity or who doesn’t drink alcohol for any reason.

These mocktails are amazing and delicious without being over the top – looking at you, Viral TikTok cocktail in a gem. If you like this atmosphere but wonder if the people really they have time to host and create a drink so extra, they do, but they don’t have to!

Serve these non-alcoholic drinks at your holiday party.

Promise the WOW factor will still be there (and you won’t wash or waste ornaments).

Pomegranate Ginger Paloma

A traditional Paloma is made with tequila, grapefruit juice, lime and sparkling water. This non-alcoholic holiday drink uses non-alcoholic tequila (I used Ritual Zero Proof), and adds an element of cheer with pomegranate juice and ginger beer in place of sparkling water.

Not only is this bevvie amazing, but I love the subtle spice that ginger ale brings. It balances the sweetness and literally adds a sparkle to your drink.

  • 6 ounce pomegranate juice
  • 4 ounce grapefruit juice
  • Juice of 1/2 lime
  • 4 ounce non-alcoholic tequila I used Ritual Zero Proof
  • Ginger beer to taste
  • Run a lime wedge around your glasses and sprinkle with sugar (or salt if you prefer). Add ice cubes and set aside.

  • Combine the drink ingredients in a shaker (or jar) and shake to combine. Strain the mixture into glasses.

  • Garnish with pomegranate seeds and fresh rosemary and serve.

If you want to try it as a cocktail, just swap out the NA tequila for your favorite brand of spirit tequila.

Mint Espresso Martini

The espresso martini has become one of my favorite drinks, but I have to admit that until now, I had never tried a non-alcoholic version. Usually this martini uses vodka, but I decided to substitute it Ritual Zero-Proof’s Gin Alternative. I then added some Torani mint syrup and a dollop of heavy cream – this is optional and you can totally use a dairy free alternative.

When I tried this recipe, I learned that stirring the mixture is the key to getting that delicious layer of foam on top. Simply brew your espresso over ice in a heat-resistant jar so it’s already chilled, add your other ingredients and shake.

  • Pour the mixture into a shaker (or leave it straight in a jar like me!). Cover with a lid and shake to combine, about 10 seconds.

  • Pour the mixture into a martini glass and let the foam settle to the top. Garnish with some coffee beans and grated mint.

You can definitely make it a cocktail by swapping the NA gin for regular gin or vodka.

Winter Spiced Hot Toddy

This is warm and comforting – perfect for serving after a day in the snow or around a campfire. I also love drinking this non-alcoholic drink for a… um… different kind of holiday – a sick day spent fighting a scratchy throat. A hot toddy is the perfect way to find some relief.

To remove the alcohol without sacrificing depth of flavor, I used Monday Zero Alcohol Whiskey. It’s hard to explain, but this whiskey alternative is key to adding that layer of warmth that alcohol usually brings. You will believe me when you try it!

Oh, and please don’t be intimidated by the spiced simple syrup! It’s super easy to throw together and simmer on the stove. Bonus – it will make your house smell amazing.

Apple Kentucky Mule

apple kentucky mule holiday soft drink

Mules are one of the most refreshing drinks out there. I’ve never taken vodka well though – even the thought of it makes me gag. It was sad when I discovered I love espresso martinis, and just as sad as I avoided mules my whole life.

UNTIL NOW.

Because not only did I manage a non-alcoholic espresso martini, but I also made a mule with a fall/holiday twist…without the vodka.

So a traditional mule is vodka, ginger beer and lime with lots of ice. To make it more holiday friendly, I used Monday Zero Alcohol Whiskey. Not only does the whiskey add a warmer flavor to this non-alcoholic drink recipe, but it adds just what the drink needed to transform it from “why not just have a soda” to a true cocktail alternative.

I also added apple juice! If you’re wondering if cider would work as well, the answer is YES.

Apple Kentucky Mule

The refreshing mule we all love, with a holiday twist. And zero whiskey.

  • Fill a copper mug with ice (crushed is best). Add NA whiskey, apple juice, ginger beer and lime juice.

  • Garnish with lime wheel, cinnamon stick and fresh rosemary.

Feel free to make it with regular whiskey if you want a cocktail version.

I would tell you my favorite, but I want to know yours first!
