This certification path establishes our NNP™ as industry leaders, fully verified and supported by our team of experts. It equips candidates with a unique skill set to work confidently with healthcare professionals or independently.

“The Nutrition Network was originally created to educate medical professionals to integrate TCR into their practice in a way that supports evidence-based treatment. What we have found in our early years is the essential link of a coach/educator/consultant to support medical intervention. What that person is and does is essential to the long-term success of a patient with any lifestyle disease. We don’t just treat diseases medically, we treat the person and their ability to cope and adapt to new approaches. Changing behavior is not easy. Our training has experts in the fields of addiction and at the core of diet and lifestyle change. What our counselors and certified coaches will do at a deeper level is guide people on a transformational journey back to health.” says Jayne Bullen, CEO of the Nutrition Network.

The vision for Nutrition Network Coach Practitioners™ is to step into the role of TCR coach and leader. This is someone who has confidence in LCHF/TCR science and research. They are able to demonstrate the necessary skills to guide their clients. They also have the ability to teach and mentor others who show an interest in the field.

This comprehensive certification program spans 14-16 weeks, offering live weekly group sessions with expert lectures. The curriculum includes rigorous training in LCHF science and coaching techniques, hands-on applications, written and oral assessments, recorded coaching sessions, mentoring opportunities, and exclusive access to a private members’ forum that connects you with speakers and fellow professional coaches. Plus, you’ll get a comprehensive guide to setting up your coaching practice.

As we prepare for the February 2025 Professional Coach Certification Pathway, we couldn’t be more excited to share what Oscar Sanez, one of our Nutrition Network Coach Practitioner graduates, has to say about the cohort.

“I completed the Nutrition Network’s Coach Certification course in July of this year and I feel so glad I did. After retiring from a corporate career two years. I have embarked on a path to becoming a health coach because of my passion for health and fitness. With no formal background in healthcare and armed only with passion and self-learning, I discovered the Nutrition Network from Professor Noakes’ published work and quickly dove into the short courses offered online. Since this was pandemic time, it worked very well for me.

But I knew I needed more than scientific knowledge to become a full-time coach. I felt I needed to learn the techniques of effective training and earn a legitimate badge for my credentials. Then I discovered that NN was offering a coach certification course for the first time in a live class format. I missed the registration of the first batch last year, but I made a note of it and all the other online courses I was still missing, and by November of last year, I was ready.

What struck me from the very first session was the diversity of the students. Fifteen students in our batch come from 9 countries on 4 continents with most of us not having English as our first language. It is interesting how above this diversity lies a common platform for understanding metabolic health. Very few had healthcare backgrounds, and we all seemed to have varied paths to get to this place. And that made it even more interesting. Somehow, it made me feel good that it’s okay to be different and unknown. I felt a welcoming atmosphere that we are all in this together, we will learn together and help each other to make sure we all reach the destination.

About half of the course deals with the science of nutrition and the other half is about developing coaching skills. This to me is what makes the program so effective. There is just the right amount of ‘what’ and ‘how’. Many coaches may have the best understanding of science and research, but fail in how to coach effectively. I have been trained in the corporate world in the principles of training, but one-on-one coaching in a world of food addiction and old-world myths is very different and much more complex.

And the science is top notch. I like the self-research method that trains students how to research the latest in various areas of metabolic health, find the answers or issues that affect various chronic pathways, and summarize your answers in a professional manner, with references. Very professional. And since each student is given a different question, the idea of sharing these answers for group discussions later allows you to learn all 15 topics at once. Not only will you cover more topics faster, but you’ll also understand how your classmates handle their research and do their analysis.

Finally, I would like to add that the quality of the NN faculty is class A. The teachers have excellent credentials from experience in research as well as clinical practice. They ensure good participation from all and take the time to thoroughly read and comment on student submissions. I can also access a huge number of resources on the NN platform and use the material in my coaching practice as teaching aids.

I am so proud to say that I am a graduate of the Nutrition Network Coach Certification Program” – NNP, Oscar Sanez.

This is a testament to The Nutrition Network Coach Practitioner Certification Path and how it integrates health coaching and LCHF coaching to produce high-level LCHF Professional Coaches.

Cheers,

The Nutrition Network team
