Welcome to the 12th version of “Stuff Mo Like”, where I talk about products, people, services or shows that I like it. I have no financial relations with any of these companies/brands. Whether you take them or not – I don’t care.
Some people in Toronto often ask me to recommend a physiotherapist, chiropractor or massage therapist. I am always in a loss, because for physiotherapists, they are not business, so that they do not really get out there and promote themselves. Chiropractors – unless it’s Matt McGrath or David Song, I can’t really guarantee them because I didn’t use them in person. Also, Matt is in Scarborough and Northern York and David is in Northern York and Markham. There is no one in the city center. As for massage therapists, well … It’s not James Alberto – Who was my massage therapist for the last 4 years.
Enter Step Up Clinic. Is a Rehabilitation clinic with 4 locations in the center of Toronto. I made 3 presentations for them in August and I was completely impressed. First of all, James works there (except Northern York). Second, it is a full -scale clinic. Have:
- Chiropractors
- Misery
- Massage therapists
- Physiotherapists
- Osteopathic
Also, the owner/founder, Jacky Leung (who is a chiropractor), takes on constant training very seriously. He has regular training for his staff to make them better.
Finally, I have a rehabilitation clinic that I am comfortable to recommend in the center of Toronto. And no, I’m not paid for this approval.
If you don’t know what the bubble tea is or you’ve never tried it, missing. It’s a cooking pleasure. A 400 -calorie cooking enjoyment. They are basic milk tea, with different flavors such as strawberry, chocolate, hazelnut, vanilla, etc. You will usually find them in Chinese, Taiwanese or Korean places.
My favorite taste is Taro (which is a Chinese radical vegetable, almost like potato). It is absolutely tasty – but 400 calories mainly sugar.
Then I discovered Boba tea protein. They make a healthy bubble tea by adding a tone of protein (25 grams per scoop) and reducing sugar (less than 1 gram of sugar). Although my favorite taste is Taro, they have a beam of other flavors, such as strawberry, classic milk tea, pumpkin spice (I think it’s seasonal), mango, lychee and others.

The best place is that there is no health sacrifice for taste. Usually, when you meet a healthy version of your favorite food, it tastes good … healthy (not good). With this, I cannot notice the difference between the actual agreement and the Boba protein tea. We definitely have a winner!
Perfect protein bar
Protein bars have really evolved over the years. First, they did not taste much, the texture was chewy, and you had to go to specialist stores to get them or online.
The current development is much better. First of all, today, they almost try like your favorite chocolate bar. It is still not an accurate match, but close enough to satisfy a sugar longing without a ton of sugar (and often, without sugar).
Second, they can now bought almost everywhere – Walmart, costco, grocery stores and even some gas stations. You don’t have to go to fill out the stores to get them.
However the next trend is to Combine protein with fiber. I only know a protein bar that does it: Perfect protein bar by the No sugar company. Not only these bars have Large dose of protein (20 grams) Along with logically low calories (190), they are also full of a ton of fiber. Most of them have 7 grams of fiberand peanut butter/jelly bar has 10 grams of fiber. To put things in perspective, this is about one -third of your daily fiber requirements in a snack. This is equal to about half a cup of beans. It’s not bad.

And have flavors like jelly peanutChocolate with peanut butter as well as cookies and cream.
The word “superfood” is usually thrown around as a term of marketing, with no formal dietary definition. It is usually used to describe some kind of exotic berry because of its antioxidants. In my mind, this is truly overpriced, because it is not yet clear what a role of antioxidants play in human health. But the role that proteins and fibers play in human health – established. At all My booksThese are my 2 most recommended nutrients.
Do you want to improve osteoporosis, inflammation and oily liver? You eat protein. Do you want to improve cholesterol, diabetes, inflammation and oily liver? Eat fiber.
I would legally like to call the perfect protein bar a superfood.
When people learn how much protein they need in relation to how much they get, they can wrap their minds around meals and high protein dinners. Just eat chicken, salmon, turkey, cake etc. And just increase serving sizes. But breakfast is a whole other challenge.
What makes the perfect protein as good as a snack makes Holos as good as a breakfast. It is also high in both – proteins and fibers.

It has the texture of oatmeal (it is actually muesli), but much more protein than oatmeal. It also comes in different flavors, such as berries, cocoa, mocha, matcha and more.
Each bag contains 350 calories. Of these, 20 grams are protein; 10-12 grams are fibers. Personally, I like to use high protein milk as a base, so when I combine it with high protein milk, it highlights the whole service in about 35 grams of protein. There is not even a signal of cereal or oatmeal that approaches protein content.
The bonuses for your own really, which hates cooking absolutely: the only preparation required is the addition of about 200 ml of liquid to it, shaking and letting it sit in your fridge one night.
