New Vision Display (NVD), a company based in Shenzhen, celebrates two years of successful productive activities at the Malaysian Unit-an important milestone in the company’s strategy to better support customer growth, risk mitigation and enhance the resilience of the supply chain.
After more than a year of careful research in many Southeast Asia countries, NVD officially established the Malaysian entity, NVD (M) SDN. Bhd., In August 2022. Factors such as cost, operational efficiency, stability of the supply chain, labor potential and accessibility of the language have contributed to the choice. The previous NVD experience that makes businesses in Malaysia, along with strong links with the region through senior leadership from Malaysia and Singapore, further supported the decision.
At that time, global supply chains were still under pressure from the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. Establishing businesses in Malaysia, NVD provided customers improved flexibility of production, reduced delivery times and higher regional support. Despite the travel restrictions that initially delayed work, the NVD successfully launched screen production lines in December 2022, followed by the extension of the Liquid Crystal Unit (LCM) and the production of touch panels in June 2024.
Today, NVD Malaysia plays a critical role in providing high quality, custom projection solutions that help customers bring innovative products to the market faster and more efficiently.
The Malaysian installation extends to 10,000 square meters (107,639 square feet) and is certified iso9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001, proving NVD’s commitment to provide customers quality, environmental responsibility and safety standards in the workplace.
NVD setting (m) SDN. Bhd. And the increase in our production potential in Malaysia has allowed us to better align with the evolving needs of our customers. For the past two years, our businesses in Malaysia have enhanced our ability to provide strategy, flexible support and to enhance the global supply chains based on our OEM partners. ”
