In today’s evolving evolving landscape of health care, professionals are increasingly dealing with the moral complexity that require careful examination and confidence in decision -making. From the integration of new technologies for navigation into alternative therapies and maintaining patients’ confidence, the importance of ethics in medicine has never been greater.

In the Nutrition Network (NN), we are proud to announce the start of our new training of ethics: “Promoting Ethics”. This e -course is based on the establishment of our original ethics offer, inspired by the widely followed noakes trial. It offers extensive content, fresh perspectives and ideas from a series of famous world speakers.

Because morality matters more than ever

“First. Don’t do harm.” This timeless principle of the Hippocratic oath remains in the heart of medicine. However, as healthcare is increasingly intersecting with corporate interests, emerging technologies and contradictory public health guidelines, this principle requires renewed attention. Ethical practice not only ensures the safety and confidence of patients, but also causes outdated examples, arguing that it is a significant change where needed.

Today, healthcare professionals face critical questions:

  • What does it mean to practice medicine morally in a globalized, technological world?
  • How should practitioners tour the complexities of controversial issues, such as nutritional advice, social media and alternative therapies?
  • What are the obligations of health professionals when conventional guidelines fail to face critical situations?
  • Can I talk about diet within my scope – and how far can I go?
  • How can I reveal the truth amid conflicting health messages?
  • Who and what can I trust in this environment?

What to expect in “promotional ethics”

The course “Advanced Ethics” addresses these pressing questions, offering information from respected voices to medicine, law and nutrition. Participants will explore:

  • The moral effects of treatments such as ketogenic diets for cancer, bariatric surgery and drugs such as Ozempic.
  • Ethical approaches to treat obesity and chronic diseases in children.
  • The challenges of social media and the ethics of virtual practice in an increasingly digital world.
  • Legal protection of professionals remain true to moral principles.

Jayne Bullen, Managing Director of the Nutrition Network, explains the urgency behind this lesson:
“In many cases, today’s care standard harms patients and leaves them worse than before treatment. How did we get here? The fantastic media titles, the false health claims and an environment where social media And Big Pharma dictates our decisions to this point.

Practitioners face real risks when talking – be it silence, loss of license or even their income. This training provides tools and guidance for navigation in these dark waters with confidence and clarity. It is the strengthening of healthcare professionals to support their principles, promoting the best care for their patients. ”

It is time to speak the truth , ask questions and accountability to prevail – start at the doctor’s office.
