Chocolate fondue can be a very fun activity that you can do as a family. This recipe makes it really easy and I will share some of my favorite dippers to have it. Well, let’s get started so you can enjoy it too!

It can also be difficult – and it doesn’t have to be. Having some simple tips can help.
I also have an easy recipe of Fondue cheese – and yes, we do both the same night. It’s a little bit of preparation, but it’s worth it.
What kind of chocolate?
We just use what is our current favorite. Honestly, most often people want milk chocolate, but if you want black chocolate that works very well.
Or, we use what we have at our disposal, this recipe is not strange.
Our favorite, if we are good for planning, is to cut a trader joe bar for it. I think chocolate is a good quality and we are in this store quite often is not difficult.
We cut it very small – the smaller the pieces are, the easier it melts.
I would like Caution against general chocolate chips. While I think these are good in cookies sometimes just don’t melt well. Just something I’ve noticed.
How to make it?
Okay, you’ll get 3/4 cup heavy cream. I have just used cream stroke and it was okay, but it’s nice to have the extra fat if you can hit “heavy cream”.
You are going to throw it in a small container and let it warm for about a minute. I like to see some steam wisdom coming out of it before I turn off the heat (but leave it on the burner) and pour in 12 ounces of chocolate.
Unlike cheese I do this at the same time, it works well.
Then stir until it melts. You only use the heat of the cream to melt it. If it does not melt in a few minutes, I could turn the heat back, but I am more worried about burning than I take a little more time to melt. That is why you want to make sure the cream is warm before adding the chocolate.
Then remove from the heat and add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract (or choice extract). I also like to add a little almond extract, so whatever makes you happy. Just do it in the end.
Then mix well and dip!
Do you use a fondue saucepan?
We don’t. This does not make a tone fondue, and we have a pretty heavy bottom that we cook in, so it remains hot for a while on our table.
We use a heated frying pan for our fondue cheese. I just haven’t found it is worth the trouble for chocolate. We just use the container, in a saucepan on the table and everyone sinks.

- Chocolate biscuit dough (make sure you use a kind that is okay to eat raw – without eggs and toast the flour if you do it yourself) – this recipe with which I connect is so easy and tasty!

We also love strawberries, raspberries, oranges, green apples (or normal apples), grapes and bananas.

Fondue Delivers
In our house, Fondue is not just a meal, it’s a tradition.
When our children were young, it was very difficult to get out of Valentines, and I really wanted to do it more for family love, than for romantic love anyway.
So, we started doing fondue for Valentines.
My kids are old now, many have moved out, but they are still returning to Fondue and say it is 100% the best tradition of our family.
One of our favorite things to do is say something nice to the person next to us if we fall into the fondue. Often in the cheese we will make the person on the left and chocolate the person to the right.
It makes it very special for valentines.
