This illuminated Dill Pickle Pasta Salad is for all pickles out there! With a lot of summer vegetables, fresh dill, and a yogurt -based dressing, this salad brings a satisfactory crisis!
Who is the dill with pickles?!
The picnic period is here! This pasta salad is full of rake and dill pickled – a double dose! The pickles provide both taste and crunching all over. It is lightweight with lots of fresh summer vegetables and creamy dressed with yogurt.
Imagine it lined up with cold crisps and a fruit tray in every summer barbecue. It is an extremely easy cold salad to get forward and bring to a picnic or Potlucks all summer long. If you are like me and you need a pickle in your burger, this makes a great dish for a cook!

Where are all my pickle lovers?!

I’m a pickled lover! My dad is also. In fact, it took years (26 to be precise) by guessing how many pickles it was in the jar of Mt. Olive in the state of North Carolina until its 27th attempt – won! Reading My mom’s blog post About the exciting day my dad got a awards package at the post office 🙂 I remember when we bought a huge pickle in the exhibition. Despite the hot, I’m a pickle man, I’m not sure if this would be my choice for snacks these days. Ha!

Please don’t serve me bread and pickled butter. It was never a fan! If you don’t like pickles like I don’t care about onions, you will want to skip this post. But if a crisp spear on the side of the sandwich plate makes your lunch, then this pasta salad is for you!

Pasta salad recipe from dill
Dill is one of my favorite herbs!
Dill is an easy herb to grow! I hope to plant some this year. I like to throw away his hands in salads – like this bowl of chicken or combine it in a Verna salad like this.

Ingredients
- Pasta fusilli – Rotina also works! Choose a shape in which the sauce will stick.
- Baby pickle – You can also use spears, spicy pickles, or even a giant pickles.
- Pepper – I used orange for a variety of colors, but red, yellow or even green.
- Cherry tomatoes – A mixture of red and yellow mixture is beautiful!
- Baby spinach – A large handful adds some green and a large dietary fist.
- Dill – In addition to spraying and garnish!
The ingredients of dress
- Full fat yogurt – You can use lower fat if this is all you have, but full fat is better for taste.
- The Duke’s Mayonnaise – I only added a fourth cup to kick the wealth in a notch. Do not use Miracle Whip or anything without fats here. If you hate mayonnaise, you can leave it out, but you know that your outfit will be thinner.
- Lemon juice – Just a compression!
- Pickle juice – For all this pickle taste !!
- Dill – You can use the dried dill for dressing, but this recipe really needs at least one sprinkle with fresh dill to try it like in the summer.

Instructions
Cook the pasta in Al Dente
Cook the pasta according to the package in a large container of cold water. Usually 10-12 minutes of boiling time. Make sure your water is too salty to run pasta! Return the cooked pasta back to the container after drain and let it cool.

Prepared vegetables
Cut the pickles, pepper, tomatoes, spinach and dill. Add to Pasta Pot.

Make the dress
Combine dressing ingredients in a bowl and beat until combined.

Commingle
Pour the outfit over the pasta salad and mix everything together.

Garnish
Season with salt and pepper to taste, and garnish with very extra fresh dill, and a small garlic powder if you are a garlic lover.

Serving!
You can eat it hot if you want, but I would recommend cooling for 1-2 hours before service.

Tips on how to make dill pasta salad
Choose the entire wheat or pasta for additional diet
I used a classic durum pasta, but if you serve in a multitude of health nuts, do not hesitate to use the most nutritional pasta you can find!
Or make it a little more classic. ;
If you bring this dish to a crowd that is not so interested in saturated fat, you can adjust the yogurt and mayo ratio being heavier on Mayo. The sour cream would also work instead of yogurt.
Ingredient ideas
You can also add some cut or sliced sharp cheddar cheese for a classic pasta salad ingredient. Little cubes cheese also works. You can use Colby Jack’s pepper or cheese. The fresh summer corn cut by the stalk would be great. And I think a crushed cheese like goat cheese or slice would also be nice.
Add protein to make it an all-in-one plate
The roasted chicken would be great in this salad to make it more a meal. Or for a vegetarian option, add beans, hard boiled egg or roasted tofu.
I make the day of
Since vegetables will be recently cut, I recommend making this dish on the day you eat it or night before. If you have a larger area to wait, you can let the ingredients separate and mix them together. Before service, be sure to mix everything together.
Mix your pickle
- Picky – Aroma with weed/dill seeds.
- Sweet pickles – Made with additional sugar or sweet vinegar.
- Bread and pickled butter – Sweet and spicy; They often include onion and mustard seeds.
- Spicy pickles – With chili peppers or hot spices.
- Garlic -Heavy garlic. Popular in Mediterranean and Eastern European Cuisines.
