At Skin by Lovely Lake Oswego, we are proud to have a group of injectors that combine know -how, art and heart and Mandy Gasperson, RN, is no exception. With a background that is rooted in both science and design, Mandy brings a meticulous, weak approach to any treatment he performs. In this Q&A, she shares her passion for regenerative aesthetics, what inspires her more, and some fun events that make her even more, well – much.

Meet the person behind the syringe in this version of 10 questions with Mandy.

10 questions with mandy>

1. What led you to pursue a career in aesthetics?

From an early age, I found myself to pull the worlds of dermatology, aesthetics and design. I was fascinated by how science and art can meet to enhance human beauty. The pursuit of a career as a RN infusion expert allowed me to combine these passions in the most important way. Every day, I feel grateful for being in a profession where I can use both technical skill and creativity to help people feel like the most radiants themselves.

2. What excites you most about regenerative medicine?

Regenerative aesthetics is really the future – a shift to treatments that stimulate the body’s physical ability to heal, rebuild and renew. A treatment that I am deeply passionate is Sculptra, which uses poly-l-la-gaicic acid (PLA), a biocompatible and biodegradable compound that gradually stimulates collagen production. Instead of providing immediate volume such as traditional fillers, Sculptra works over time to rebuild the structural integrity of the skin from the inside. The results are sophisticated, natural and beautifully undetected – just the type of increased improvement that is aligned with my philosophy for timeless beauty.

3. How would you describe your style as an injector?

My approach is careful, deliberate and focused on the patient. I am proud of being meticulous – a true perfectionist – because when you are refreshed with one’s face, every detail is important. Consultations with me are thorough and honest. I’m not in a hurry. I hear carefully to understand the goals of each patient and to guide them with know -how and integrity to the best, more natural results.

4. What is the thing you think people need to know before they get injectable?

One important thing to understand is that injectables, when performed carefully and skillfully, are designed to accurately enhance your natural beauty, not to change it drastically. The most beautiful results are often the ones that no one can put on their finger. People have to wonder what you do to look so refreshed, not to detect where you did a job. This is the price of your unique features and to help you feel like the most vibrant, sure version of yourself.

5. What is the most satisfying part of your work as an injector?

The relationships I build with my patients are everything to me. Watching someone not only look refreshed, but feel more confident and radiant is the absolute reward. Helping patients achieve their goals while training and strengthening them along the road is really satisfactory.

6. What do you like most about Oswego Lake?

Lake Oswego has such a special place in my heart. I like to live and practice in a community that feels both vibrant and intimate. Serving the place where I spend my daily life makes every interaction of patients even more important.

7. What does trust mean to you and how do you help patients find it?

Confidence, for me, is an inner state of grace – a feeling of alignment between who you are and how you present yourself to the world. Through aesthetic care, I aim to enhance the beauty that already exists in every patient, helping them feel more authorized, authentic and bright in their daily lives.

8. When you don’t see patients, how do you like to spend your time?

When I am not in the clinic, you will usually find me with my family – my true institution. I have married my wonderful husband for almost 20 years and together we have two amazing children. My daughter is 13 and thrives both in the sports fields and as a frequent Sephora customer, and my son Hudson is 17 years old, seeking his dream of playing D1 football, while running a thriving pressure operation he founded two years ago. Watching them chase their dreams fills me with endless pride and inspiration.

9. Do you have a favorite skin care or advice you like to share?

A product I suggest again and again is the ANFISA AN-BALM. It is a luxurious multipurpose treatment that I like to wear under my makeup for deep hydration and lightly remove it over the makeup to rejuvenate a cool, radiant finish all day long. It’s a true glow and a must-have in my skin care routine.

10. What is something for you who can surprise people?

A fun fact: During the college, I had the honor of shouting professionally for the San Diego NFL chargers! It was an unforgettable experience that taught me the value of discipline, teamwork and joy -indusons that continue to shape my life and approach to my work today.
