Wondering if you should try vaginal or vaginal tamping to attract men? Let’s find out whether the removal is safe or not.

The world of the internet and social media is full of strange trends. Here’s one: Vamping. A portmanteau of the words vagina and dabbing, it involves using vaginal fluid and dabbing it on the body as a perfume to attract the opposite sex! Although there is no scientific evidence to support this claim, vabbing has been trending on the internet for some time now. But beware, there is a risk of introducing harmful bacteria to the skin when applying vaginal secretions to the wrists or behind the ears. Curious to know if vabbing really works? Read on to learn all about the tampon and whether it’s worth trying.

What is vabbing?

Vabbing is short for vaginal dabbing, which is a practice where women apply their own vaginal discharge or vaginal discharge as a form of perfume or perfume. This practice is based on the belief that the natural pheromones and scent produced by the vagina can be attractive or attractive to others when applied to the skin as a perfume, says obstetrician and gynecologist Dr Madhu Juneja. She warns that the safety and effectiveness of using vaginal secretions as a perfume has not been scientifically validated.

According to research published in Reproductive, Women’s and Children’s Health in the 2023 journal, pheromones play a key role in mate selection among animals, including humans. But it is still not known whether vaginal fluid is an attractive sex pheromone that can be used as a perfume.

How does vabbing work?

Cleansing usually involves collecting vaginal secretions from the vaginal opening or inner lips using a clean finger or applicator and then applying these secretions to the skin as a form of perfume or perfume. The exact cleaning method may vary according to individual preferences and practices.

Vaginal discharge is naturally produced by the vaginal glands and can vary in consistency, texture and scent depending on factors such as hormonal fluctuations, menstrual cycle and overall vaginal health, says the expert. Some women may find that their vaginal juices have a subtle or pleasant scent, which they may choose to use as perfume. However, it is necessary to be careful when collecting and applying vaginal secretions externally.

What are the benefits of cleaning?

Here are some possible benefits of ironing:

  • Some people may appreciate the natural scent of their vaginal discharge, believing it to be unique, subtle
  • Vaginal secretions contain pheromones, which are chemical compounds that may play a role in attraction, the expert says. Some believe that dressing can enhance their natural pheromone scent and potentially attract sexual partners.
  • Vabbing can serve as a way to embrace and celebrate their femininity, sensuality and bodily autonomy.
  • It can be a natural, eco-friendly alternative to synthetic fragrances as it uses the body’s own secretions rather than commercially produced fragrances.

Is vabbing healthy?

The safety and health implications of cleaning or applying vaginal secretions as perfume are not well understood and have not been scientifically validated. While some women may perceive stripping as a natural and harmless practice, there are potential risks and issues to be aware of, including the possibility of infections and vaginal health disorders.

1. Risks of infection

The vagina is a self-cleansing and self-regulating organ with its own unique microbiome, which consists of a balance of beneficial bacteria and other microorganisms. Externally introducing vaginal secretions, such as applying them to the skin as a perfume, can disrupt this delicate ecosystem and increase the risk of infections. Harmful bacteria or pathogens present in vaginal secretions could potentially lead to skin irritation, allergic reactions, or infections if they get on the skin or mucous membranes, explains Dr. Juneja.

2. Hygiene issues

Collecting and applying vaginal fluid externally requires careful hygiene practices to minimize the risk of infection and contamination. Practicing good hand hygiene and cleaning the external genital area before collecting secretions can help reduce the risk of introducing harmful bacteria. It is also important to use clean and disinfected applicators or tools if you are collecting secretions for cleaning.

3. Possible irritation

Vaginal discharge can vary in consistency, texture, and pH depending on factors, including your periods. Some women may be more sensitive to certain components of vaginal secretions and their external application could potentially cause skin irritation, allergic reactions or discomfort.

If you want to try the clothesline, be careful. It is important to prioritize vaginal health and hygiene and to consult a physician if you experience any concerns or symptoms related to vaginal health or wellness. If you are interested in exploring natural fragrances or fragrances, you may consider using commercially available fragrances or essential oils that are specifically designed for external use and have undergone safety testing.
