At Woohoo, we strive to create skincare routines that feel nice and simple (without being confusing and complicated). You don’t need a zillion bottles on the shelf. You just need the right basics that focus on calm, glowing skin and a happy hamper.

Yes, we have a full range to suit all sorts of concerns and needs (because leather is wonderfully unique and there’s no one-size-fits-all solution), but once you get the basics down, it’s a lot easier than it looks.

And once you’re done with this blog post, check out part 2 – how to create a routine for your skin type (without overthinking it).

Clear (choose one)

You just need a good quality, non-drying cleanser.

Cloud 9 Cleansing Balm

  • Best for: normal, dry or sensitive skin
  • Rich, gentle balm
  • Melts away make-up, sunscreen and everyday grime

3 Cheers Cleansing Oil

  • Best for: normal, combination or sensitive skin
  • Light, well-loved oil cleanser
  • Leaves no greasy residue

A quick note on double cleansing

If you wear a lot of makeup or sunscreen, you can enjoy an oil or balm cleanser first and then a second cleanse—often called a double cleanse. That being said, many people find that a gentle cleanse is more than enough. The best routine is the one that makes your skin happy!

Hydration (the most important step)

Over the Moon Rich Repair Cream

  • Best for: all skin types
  • Supports the skin’s natural moisture barrier
  • Helps soothe tight, dry or uncomfortable skin
  • Use a very light layer for oily or blemish-prone skin

If you only use one Woohoo skincare product, make it this one.

Prefer something lighter?

(Optional Alternatives)

Make My Day Bio-Retinol Gel Cream

  • Best for: oily or blemish-prone skin
  • Light gel-cream that absorbs quickly
  • Great if you don’t like rich creams
  • Benefits similar to retinol, without the use of retinol

Facial mists

(Optional – nice to have, not necessary)

Your routine works great without a mist, but even better with one.

Raindrops Hydrating Mist

  • Best for: all skin types, especially sensitive or reactive skin
  • Light hydration, calmness and comfort
  • Gentle with a rose scent
  • Use if skin feels tight, tight or irritated

Tickle Pink Clarifying Face Mist

  • Best for: oily or blemish-prone/congested skin
  • It helps balance oiliness and supports skin with a softer feel
  • Fresh, light feel
  • Teen friendly and great when skin feels out of balance

Terms

(Optional Upgrades)

Serums are for targeted results – not necessary. If in doubt, skip it.

FG Serum 01 – Glow

  • Best for: normal, combination or mature skin
  • Packed with vitamin C + peptides
  • Enhances shine and brightness
  • Best used in the morning

FG Serum 02 – Clear

  • Best for: skin with tension or congestion
  • Helps calm blemish-prone skin and regulate oiliness
  • Promotes clear, healthy skin with less redness

Very sensitive skin? It’s perfectly fine to skip the serums.

Facial oils

(Optional boosters)

These are add-ons, not daily essentials.

Good Vibes Brightening Facial Oil

  • Best for: normal, combination or mature skin
  • Non-greasy radiance-enhancing face oil
  • Use 1-2 drops when skin looks dull or tired
  • Mix into moisturizer or squeeze on top

Black seed oil

  • Best for: sensitive, blemish-prone or congested skin
  • Single ingredient oil with cult
  • Can be applied from top to toes
  • For face use, best used sparingly (not a daily essential)

Exfoliate

(Optional – less is more)

Exfoliation is not necessary for everyone. If your skin is sensitive, it’s fine to skip this step.

Konjac sponges

  • Best for: all skin types
  • Ultra-gentle natural exfoliation using only water or in combination with a cleanser
  • Help cleanse and lightly exfoliate without stripping
  • Suitable for daily use, even for sensitive skin
  • A great low-effort option if you like a soft, clean skin feel without using exfoliating products.

This Is Me Enzyme Exfoliator

  • Best for: most skin types (use less often if sensitive)
  • Gentle exfoliation for smooth skin and maintaining clear pores
  • Better to use occasionally, not daily
  • A good choice if your skin feels dull, congested or needs a bit of a refresh, but not something you need to use all the time.

The easiest way to get started

If you’re feeling unsure, here’s the simplest tip: Cleanser + Over the Moon Face Cream is enough. Everything else is optional 🙂

(Or try the “Get the Party Started” skin care package if you’re ready to get your fingers into a few more products)

The Woohoo skincare philosophy in a few words

  • You don’t need a million steps
  • Calming the skin works better than aggravating the skin with too many formulas
  • Barrier support comes first
  • Listen to your skin (sounds weird, but it works)
  • Add additives only if your skin enjoys them
  • Have fun with it!

Thirsty for more? See part 2 – how to create a routine for your skin type (without overthinking it).
