From the men’s health network

Every April, Men’s Health Network (MHN) leads a national effort to raise awareness for one of the most therapeutic but often overlooked cancers affecting new and middle-aged men-testicular.

As the number one cancer in men aged 15 to 35 years, testicular cancer requires attention, conversation and, above all, action.

In April, we invite individuals, families, schools and communities I entered the game for Awareness Awareness Month for Testicular Cancer 2025. Whether you share educational resources, encourage self-extensions or organization of Community events, it is now the time to join the movement.

Understanding testicular cancer

Testicular cancer comes from testicles, usually in form germ cells (such as seminars). While representing a small percentage of all male cancers, the risk is significantly higher for young men. In 2025, it is appreciated 9.910 new diagnoses will be done in the US, with about 460 deaths.

However, when caught early, testicular cancer is extremely therapeuticwith a five -year survival rate of over 95%.

It’s a young man’s disease

  • Average age in diagnosis: 33
  • 6% of cases affect boys and adolescents
  • 8% of cases occur in men over 55 years of age
  • Caucasian are five times more likely to be diagnosed by African -American men

These numbers underline the importance of men’s approach early– Before the symptoms are escalated or missing opportunities for early treatment.

What can you do: Early detection and self -service

Self -knowledge is the first step towards prevention. The monthly self-extensives are fast (less than three minutes) and can be performed in the shower.

Men must check for:

  • Painless pieces or swelling

  • Changes in size or figure

  • A heavy feeling in the scrotum

MHN offers a Awareness Kit for testicular cancer Including a hanger shower to serve as a monthly reminder and guide to appropriate self-exploration techniques.

We encourage all people – and those who love them – to normalize speech on testicular health. Strengthen your brothers, sons, friends and partners to prioritize their well -being.

Participation: Community and digital action

Awareness Awareness Month for Testicular Cancer 2025 It’s more than a campaign – it’s a national appeal for action.

From students to companies, from healthcare providers to policy -makers, everyone can play a role.

Community commitment opportunities:

  • Host a “Wear Blue Day” to promote education and solidarity
  • Coordinate a local health report Using MHN’s Healthzone event manual
  • Involve schools and families with the age -appropriate health of age
  • Organize learning activities at home To help young people learn about hygiene and health education
  • Call for a formal declaration by your local or state government that recognizes in April as a month of awareness of the courses

Ways to give back:

  • Offer to the men’s health network to provide educational materials and support services
  • Volunteer For an awareness event or virtual campaign
