Tia-Clair Toomey-Orr and Shane Orr’s PRVN training camp continues to invest in Hyrox’s sport, making significant efforts to promote the brand, develop athletes and bridging the gym between competitive gymnastics and gymnastics.
Earlier this spring, we wrote about PRVN’s plans to “take over the Hyrox”, which included the attraction of coach and elite athlete James Kelly.
- Kelly is today one of the most important athletes In the gym community, a balancing of his time between training, training and competition. Together with the orrs and the PRVN team, they have created an impressive list of competitors.
So how is PRVN doing now, only two months later?
At the 2025 Hyrox World Championships in Chicago, IL, PRVN made an important statement as more than 80 athletes competed with Banner PRVN, including Kelly coach, who finished fourth in the Elite 15 with 55:27.
Although he retired from the Elite Doubles department due to illness, Toomey-Orr competed in the Mixed Doubles section with James Newbury, ending at 56:01.
In addition to Toomey-Orr, Newbury and Kelly, here are some other names you want to keep your radar:
- Ioanna Wietrzyk – Young, guided and eager for a title, Wietrzyk is known to many CrossFitters as a double-or-dipped toomey-orr partner. However, it does not need to be based on Toomey-Orr for reputation as soon as it crosses the boot line. In its emerging season, it broke the indefinable one -hour obstacle to the big companies of Hong Kong with a time of 59:58 and went for second place in the World Championship with a time of 59:17.
- Jess Pettrow – Pettrow gave an excellent performance earlier this year in Glasgow, where it achieved a 61 -minute PR. Together with fellow Australians Wietrzyk, Kelly and Newbury, Pettrow secured the mixed relay victory at the 2025 World Championships.
- Luke – Young Ennis, just 18 years old, makes impressive progress in the sport. From Glasgow, Scotland, Ennis recently ended his first full season, placing him 5th in his age team at the World Championship with a time of 1: 01.55. Ennis is now attracting the attention of trademarks and sponsors.
- Lindsay bessegato – Bessegato unites the ranks of athletes who combine Hyrox training with CrossFit. He trains at Teamldn Crossfit in Ontario, Canada and finished in the first 20 ages of the world championship in June.
Along with its impressive roster, PRVN has expanded its commitment to the sport launching a Hyrox subsidiary program, led by PRVN Hyrox Affiliate Affiliate Carey Pearson.
There are two options available for gyms interested in adding Hyrox programming.
- The selection of three days a week SUITS CROSSFIT subsidiaries or other gyms that want to add Hyrox workouts to their existing planning (PRVN or otherwise).
- Selection of seven days a week It’s for the “Hyrox Purists”, as Pearson describes them – gyms mainly focusing on Hyrox’s education and races.
Both options, especially the seven -day plan, adopt a comprehensive approach to training. Pearson uses his background as a coach and CrossFit developer, combining speed, power, power and preparation for Hyrox mixed workouts.
In a standard race with constant distances and stations, training can be dull.
Pearson explains that while knowing that there are other Hyrox programs available, he appreciates training that is not only effective but also involved in motivation for athletes.
- His program divides the Hyrox season In five periods of training cycles, taking into account the basic dates of races, with reference tests corresponding to each cycle.
Currently, those involved in the program are in the first round of the year, as the World Championship recently concluded.
- Today’s “Atlas Circle” will last eight weeks And it focuses on building aerobic base and fundamental durability, with reference tests, including two mixed modern style workouts, a 5K run, and five rep max deadlifts, pressing pressures and front squats.
In addition to the two tracks, “Pro”, “Open” and “Foundational” are available, allowing athletes to find the best application for their needs.
Prvn’s Hyrox subsidiary planning began on June 16 and since then, Pearson and the PRVN team have received positive comments from gyms that have already adopted.
- Pearson shared that a subsidiary owner arrived, saying: “My athletes (even the original [HYROX] Haters) love your programming for Hyrox, so I have to make sure I can get into it! “
