Oliveda This Or That? My Honest Picks For The Best

If you’re torn between two Oliveda products or not sure which one is best, here are my top recommendations in each category and why!

TIP: Almost everything at Olive tree it’s buy-one-get-one-free right now as they’re making room for new packs, so chances are you can get whatever you want for 50% off today!

If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, you know I’m obsessed Olive tree (aka Olive Tree People) and its anhydrous formulations that are fortified with antioxidants from olive leaves. People often ask me “should I get this or that?” So I thought it would be helpful to compare some of the products that people often choose between so that you can decide which one is best for you. Here are my top recommendations in each category, which products I reach for the most, and why I love each one.

Cleaners

F38 Purifying Cleansing Gel vs. F78 Arbequina Cleansing Oil

Both cleansers are enjoyable, but serve very different routines. THE F38 Purifying Cleansing Gel it’s my go-to when I want that clean yet soft feel—it’s a gel that lathers up enough, dissolves makeup and sunscreen, and leaves skin feeling calm and velvety instead of stripped. It’s my daily shower cleanser and it smells amazing! If your skin is really dry, this might be a little too dry for you – go with the oil below!

THE F78 Arbequina Cleansing Oil feels luxurious and goes on like a thin oil. I reach for this at night in the sink when I need to remove the day’s makeup and grime. It glides on, effortlessly melts make-up and rinses clean with no greasy residue. The oil layer really helps strengthen the skin barrier when cleansing, so this is a great option for dry skin types like me.

Why would I choose:

  • F38 — Daily cleansing atmosphere, especially after days of sunscreen/makeup. For oilier to normal skin.
  • F78 — Days of deep makeup, extra nourishment and barrier support. For normal to dry skin.

F06 Cell Active Serum vs. F59 Corrective serum

F06 Cell Active Serum helps smooth your skin, reduce pore size, even out skin tone and smooth wrinkles! What I like most about it is that it has a skin tightening effect and smells really good. It’s just a great serum for all skin types. If you want a serum that is a little less expensive and less active than F59, this is the one to get. I prefer the scent of this serum to the F59 below, but since I’m “thin” I use the F59 for that extra boost.

F59 Corrective serum
it’s the serum Oliveda is known for that sells out fast! It’s called “magic in a bottle” because it’s made with concentrated hydroxytyrosol (which is an extremely powerful antioxidant) combined with cardamom extract, which is an ingredient that lifts and smoothes your skin. It also builds collagen. So, overtime, your wrinkles tend to lift and smooth out like botox.

Why would I choose:

  • F06 — if hydration, softness and overall skin health is your priority, especially if you’re younger.
  • F59 — if you want maximum antiaging results, including the smoothing of fine lines.

Booster Serums

Serum F83 HT + Vitamin C vs. F86 Corrective Vegan Hyaluronic Serum vs. F81 AHA + HT Serum

THE Serum F83 HT + Vitamin C it is made with hydroxytyrosol, which is an extremely powerful antioxidant, and also contains camu camu. This is 1300% more potent than vitamin C alone when combined with hydroxytyrosol. It improves fine lines and wrinkles, neutralizes free radicals and gives you a super radiant complexion by tackling uneven tone and dullness while boosting antioxidant protection from environmental stressors. My esthetician recommended skipping it in the drier months as vitamin C can be drying.

Another great booster if you’re looking for gentle exfoliation as an overnight peel is the F81 AHA + HT Serum. It’s designed to improve texture—think of it as a skin polish you can use a few times a week to prevent dullness, reduce scarring, and keep breakouts under control. It’s ideal for breakout-prone skin because it gently exfoliates and removes dead skin that can cause build-up and breakouts.

THE F86 Corrective Vegan Hyaluronic Serum it is ideal for dry and aging skin because it deeply hydrates and hydrates, drawing water into the skin. This serum also repairs oxidative damage and makes your skin look and feel plumper/tighter. This can be used morning and night and I like layering it on top of my all-purpose serum in the colder, drier months.

Why would I choose:

  • F81 — gentle retexturizing serum for use on PM.
  • F83 — in the warmer months, a great AM serum for protection and shine.
  • F86 — in the winter months, a top hydration for flaky or thirsty skin. AM or PM.

elixirs

F82 Green Retinol Facial Elixir vs. F87 Corrective Kahai Elixir

Oliveda’s elixirs are similar to adding retinol to your routine – they’re perfect for boosting anti-aging benefits. Mix it into your serum or apply alone and follow with moisturizer. Use 2-3 drops. It’s powerful, so easy to use!

THE F82 Green Retinol Facial Elixir uses bakuchiol (a plant-based retinol alternative) alongside hydroxytyrosol so you get smoothing and revitalization without the sensitivity that can come from traditional retinol. This is the mildest of the three retinol-like enhancers. I prefer the scent of this one, but I think Kahai is a bit stronger, so I tend to buy it more.

You can use any of them day or night. THE F87 Corrective Kahai Elixir has a richer botanical oil base than Green Retinol. Kahai Elixir boosts skin’s brightness, hydration, elasticity and firmness, while minimizing pore size and reducing hyperpigmentation. It is made with kahai oil, which has a natural content of retinol (vitamin A). It is also effective for fine lines and wrinkles. It’s good for all skin types and you can use it morning and night!

Why would I choose:

  • F82 — if you want gentle antiaging support without irritation.
  • F87 — if you want a stronger result and your skin thrives with richer nutrients and comfort.

Moisturizing creams

Corrective face cream F42 vs. F74 Regeneration Cream

I generally use F42 for AM and F74 for PM, but you can use either! I use F42 for AM because it has a low SPF. Sometimes when I travel, I’ll just bring one and use it for both morning and afternoon.

THE Corrective face cream F42 it’s slightly lighter and more protective, making it ideal for daily hydration. It is ideal for dry/aging skin because it contains extra hydroxytyrosol. Smoothes, super moisturizes, improves elasticity and reduces fine lines. It also contains sun protection factor! Apply as you would any moisturizer, but know that a little goes a long way.

THE F74 Regeneration Cream is a lovely scented night cream that delivers serious repair and nourishment. It’s rich without feeling heavy, sinks in beautifully once you warm it in your hands and makes my skin feel instantly soothed. Since I have dry (older!) skin, I want maximum hydration overnight. I often follow this with face oil to further lock in moisture.

Why would I choose:

  • F42 — for lighter, everyday moisture with protective benefits.
  • F74 — for nighttime repair, hydration and a rich, comforting feel that helps skin recover.

Masks

F18 Black olive face mask vs. F76 Face mask with honey enzyme

THE F18 Black olive face mask is a moisturizing mask that deeply hydrates and helps regenerate the skin. It is made from pureed Arbequina black olives, which makes it extremely nourishing and works well for very sensitive, irritated or sun-stressed skin.

THE F76 Face mask with honey enzyme removes dead skin cells with papain from papaya, so the rest of your skin care products absorb better. This is especially beneficial for dry and/or aging skin, as you pay more for these types of products and want to get the most out of them. Honey soothes and Arbequina oil moisturizes and leaves a silky feeling. I also love that it has a warm feel to it and tastes great if you get some on your lips (haha – delicious honey!) and the green color is fun!

Why would I choose:

  • F18 — hydration and regeneration.
  • F76 — restore and soothe.

Internally (Beauty from within)

I66 The Fountain of Beauty vs. I70 The Beauty Molecule

I66 The Fountain of Beauty is a beauty potion that combines hydroxytyrosol with bioactive collagen peptides to create a unique complex of active ingredients advertised to smooth wrinkles. Unfortunately, we all start losing collagen after the age of 30. The best way to replace it is to supplement with liquid bioactive collagen peptides, making it easier for the body to absorb.

THE I70 The Beauty Molecule combines hydroxytyrosol with hyaluronic acid, lavender, camu and turmeric. It has many of the same ingredients as I66 but with added hyaluronic acid. It is what I would recommend to us mature women.

Why would I choose:

  • I66 — wide beauty support.
  • I70 — maximum benefit from hyaluronic acid.

Favorite Olive Rose Makeup

If you haven’t seen my full Olive Rose Makeup Review but go check it out! I love it skin tone serum, blush stick, lip butter, and concealer — are easy everyday products. I still struggle with mascara because I find it a little clumpy at times.

I hope this helps clarify some of the modifications and differences between the products! Many times, it’s a trade-off between price and ingredients. You want to spend less or buy more ingredients. If you’re over 40, I’d go with the second one 😉
