Can you use Retinal during pregnancy?
The short answer is no – retinol (and other vitamin A derivatives) generally is not recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
Vitamin A derivatives are incredibly effective skin care ingredients, but because high doses of vitamin A taken orally can affect fetal development, most dermatologists and health professionals take a cautious approach to topical vitamin A products during pregnancy.
