Sharing takes care of!

Two of the most effective anti -aging tools are hyaluronic acid and vitamin C. Today, we will learn how to make a serum force with both ingredients. This hyaluronic acid DIY and the vitamin C serum is easy and fast to do, has a relatively good life and goes very far with hydration, normalization, evening and regeneration of your skin. This is a DIY that I am so excited to share!

I have experimented with different hyaluronic acid powders and vitamin C additives to make the perfect hybrid serum. It took a while and tasting different brands and many failed attempts, but eventually I have broken the code. The best part is that this serum is extremely effective and above it, it is easy to do.

I have tried many different hyaluronic acid powders as well as vitamin C powders. Every time I tried to do this serum, something will go wrong. As soon as I found a wet vitamin C that was actually much more stable than ordinary powders, I jumped on it! This particular type of vitamin C is essential in this recipe and any other vitamin C recipes as well. Usually vitamin C is very prone to oxidation and will remain effective for only a week at best, which made the vitamin C diy hives make pain.

The hyaluronic acid I chose gives the best gel texture. Many hyaluronic acid powders are very effective but tend to be very watery that do not indicate ineffectiveness but THIS Specific dust gives such a nice consistency of a gel. I have also used THIS Hyaluronic acid also I like.

Benefits of Hyaluronic Acid skin:

Our skin makes its own hyaluronic acid, but as we grow older, its production falls drastically. Hyaluronic acid attracts water as a sponge and holds it in it by creating a barrier. It helps smooth wrinkles and fills the skin. Abundance of hyaluronic acid in the skin increases elasticity and heals and regenerates the tissue.

Youth skin is full of hyaluronic acid. Completing it after the age of 40 is necessary and will go a long way when it comes to normalization and moisturizing skin.

The big thing for hyaluronic acid is that it is a sufficient moisturizing cream for acne skin or fatty skin. It will not clog pores and sink into the skin immediately. For more information on hyaluronic acid, refer to the serum of the Hyaluronic Acid DIY serum.

Benefits of Vitamin C:

The main claim of vitamin C for reputation is that it illuminates the skin and increases collagen production. It is a powerful tool against aging. Vitamin C was Well known to help light -age points also. Vitamin C can tighten and reduce loose skin and even protect against sun damage. Many skin care experts would say that it is 100% necessary in a skin care routine against aging.

Why make a serum that contains both HA and Vitamin C?

Hyaluronic acid and vitamin C complement each other in the best way. Everyone has quality the other is not, which means it is a great advantage when used together. Vitamin C will exfoliate which can dry the skin, while hyaluronic acid helps regenerate and hydrate the skin. While vitamin C illuminates and protects, hyaluronic acid hydrates and replenishes.

Hyaluronic acid and vitamin C are quite dynamic twin and when using both together you can effectively fight the signs of aging!

What is vitamin C, 3-glyceryl ascorbic?

According to Lotioncrafter:

Vitamin C, 3-glycerin ascorbic It is a derivative of vitamin C that is more stable than the alternatives of dust -derived vitamin C. Vitamin C, 3-glycerin ascorbic It is not discolored over time due to degradation and since it is a stable product, it will not change a color or content. Vitamin C, 3-glycerin ascorbic It offers the benefits of vitamin C in a composition without the volatility or degradation of a traditional vitamin C choice.

Basic benefits

  • It behaves as an antioxidant to prevent damage to the ultraviolet radiation and the damage caused by stress, also illuminates the skin and improves skin regeneration.

  • Suppresses melanin production to improve signs

  • Conditions and moisturizes the skin

  • Enhances collagen production for improved elasticity

Vitamin C, 3 glyceryl ascorbic can only be added to water -based ingredients or added to the aqueous phase of a lotion. This vitamin C should make up 2-10% of a recipe.

This particular vitamin C is about $ 15 per 1 ounce. 1 ounce will make several serums and other DIY. If you use 10% Vitamin C in each DIY serum, you can make about 30, 1 ounces.

This ingredient can be used in many more DIY. In fact, I will share it with a new eye serum next week!

What you will need to make hyaluronic acid and vitamin C:

*You must first make a hyaluronic acid base before adding vitamin C. This base is easy to do, but you should sit in the refrigerator for about 6-12 hours so that the dust dissolves and thickens the water. I’m not sure if you can add vitamin C when you make the base. The gut tells me that it should be added as soon as your base is over.

How to make a hyaluronic acid base:

    1. Add 7 tablespoons of soup distilled water or hydrosol to a bowl.
    2. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of hyaluronic acid over the top of the water. Do not disturb mixing.
    3. Place it in the refrigerator for 6-12 hours. The powder will be dissolved gradually while the water thickens.
    4. After the mixture is thick, pour into a bottle of spice.

Bowl with water and a hand adding hyaluronic acid powder.

How to make hyaluronic acid/vitamin C serum:

  1. In a bottle of glass glass 1 ounce add addition 1/4 tablespoons. Vitamin C.
  2. Add 1/4 tablespoons. of white -colored liquid.
  3. Turn off with the HA serum base using the spray bottle.

Recipe notes:

  • This recipe makes about 4 ounces. I recommend using 1/2-1 ounces at a time and leave the rest in the fridge.
  • The shelf life is about 1-2 months with the preservative (white fluid) and the excess refrigerator.
  • If your hyaluronic acid powder remains accumulated (which is very unusual with the brand I connect), you can use a high power frozen or blender to smooth it.

When to use a serum:

After cleaning and stimulating, a serum must be used. It is best to apply a serum when the skin is still slightly moist from the toner. After your serum, I recommend using face oil. If you have oily skin, this serum can be enough and a moisturizing cream can be omitted.

You can use serum this morning and evening. If you plan to use once a day, we recommend using it in the morning.

Is a preservative necessary?

YES. I pulled this recipe more than a month ago, put it in a bottle of 1/2 hugs and left the rest in the fridge. To take photos for this position I needed the rest of the serum I had kept in the fridge. When I fill my empty bottle with it it was clearly shaped. Even in the fridge there was mold. So 100% yes, don’t wipe the preservative. White fluid It is a wide spectrum conservative used in products characterized as “natural” and biologically certified. It is very safe to use and is affordable. Grab a bottle when you buy vitamin C in Lotioncrafter. It can be used in all water -based DIYs, such as graphites and other serums. However, it is not recommended for lotion.

Additional ingredients:

I mentioned above that you may want to use a hydrosol as a base for HA dust instead of water. Using a hydrosonus can enhance the benefits of the skin as well as give your serum a wonderful smell. My favorites are roses and lavender. If you choose to stick to the water, I recommend using distilled water.

Essential oils It can also be added for more action against aging. My favorite essential oils against aging are Helichrysum, Geranium, Cypress, Ylang Ylang and Lavender. I will add about 5 drops per 1 serum ounce.

Vegetable glycerin It is often added to water -based products as it is wet and will attract water to the skin. It is also known for its slip and can improve the texture of your serum. Personally, I don’t think it is necessary in a serum of hyaluronic acid.

I am very excited about this DIY serum. I have used my own for more than a month and just made a new batch. At this point in the summer I usually see over -coloring and a sunlight in particular that increases. I don’t see any of them and my elevated point is no longer elevated and is less noticeable than it was in winter! My skin feels softer than ever. This will be a DIY serum with which I will stick and encourage you to make some. It’s a very simple DIY that you can make in a matter of minutes!

xx, Jenny
