It seems like everyone is getting into the Christmas spirit early this year. Trader Joe’s is always a little ahead of the holiday game, and you really need to buy the products you’re interested in early if you don’t want to miss out.

So when I strolled into TJ’s last weekend to find Christmas music playing and some of my holiday favorites on the shelves, I knew I couldn’t pass them up. Since my visit, even more seasonal favorites and brand new items have hit the shelves. Even though I haven’t put up my tree or even started Christmas shopping, I’m feeling TJ’s FOMO. Am I going to make another trip this weekend and officially stock up on holiday goodies? We’ll see.

Here are the Trader Joe’s holiday items I’m most excited about this year!

Bring them to the holiday party

Whether you’re hosting or a guest, these Trader Joe’s holiday items are easy wins.

Frozen mashed sweet potatoes – Who has time to peel and boil potatoes? Not us. I love these because they are JUST mashed sweet potatoes, frozen in cubes, so you can heat up just the portion you need and add whatever seasonings and toppings you want. There is also a regular mashed potato version! I keep them in my freezer all winter long.

Chili Cranberry Orange & Onion Crunch – I looooove Chili Onion Crunch. The sweet addition of cranberry and orange sounds interesting and I think it would be really yummy on a holiday charcuterie board!

Wine – TJ’s has a huge selection of delicious (and often inexpensive) wines. If you’re looking for a non-alcoholic option, try the Rosé Sparkling Tea.

Unexpected Holiday Cheddar Cheese Spread – The holiday version of this fan favorite contains cranberries, Riesling wine and cinnamon. Another perfect addition to your snack.

Salad mix with lemon arugula – Holiday side dishes are delicious, but heavy. This salad mix is a year round favorite and will balance perfectly with the rest of the spread.

Half a salted turkey breast – Zero effort and the perfect size for hosting a small group.

Broccoli & cauliflower gratin – A rich and decadent side of vegetables that won’t stain the dishes either! Win.

Corn filling – It’s not a holiday without stuffing, right?!

Snacks to get you into the holiday spirit

Nuts About Rosemary Mix – Just a solid, delicious mix of savory snacks. Fingers crossed the spicy version returns again this year.

Mini Dark Chocolate Mini Stars – One of the first holiday items I spotted this year. At first I thought, “It’s too early.” And then I grabbed a box because I love them and if you wait, there’s a good chance you’ll miss out.

Candy Cane Chocolate almonds – Dark chocolate + white chocolate + mint + almonds. OF COURSE these are amazing.

Jingle Jangle Everything – I haven’t seen the actual tins of Jingle Jangle YET, but it’s coming. Pretzels are super fun and would look amazing in a dessert.

Candy Cane Joe-Joes – These are such a TJ’s holiday staple that every year they have new variations of the mint cookie dessert, like the ice cream.

Thanksgiving Seasoned Popcorn Filling – I went through it and then saw Kelsey from Trader Joe’s Food Reviews give it a 9/10 so YES I will go back and buy if it’s still in stock.

Seasoned Kettle Chips with Thanksgiving Stuffing – If the filling always smells good, but the texture isn’t your favorite, these are for you. Seasoning is everything. Pro tip: put these chips on your turkey sandwich.

Stollen Crisps – Sweet and delicious on their own, and the perfect addition to a holiday charcuterie board.

Make a gift!

Olive wood – This is one of my favorite TJs seasonal products! The selection changes a little each year, but whether you’re gifting a bowl, a spatula or a cutting board, you can’t go wrong!

12 Days Scented Candles – Advent calendars are for adults too! And it’s no secret that TJ’s candles make great gifts. Wrap it for a friend or gift yourself and enjoy looking forward to discovering a new scented mini candle every day!

12 Days of Beauty – Who doesn’t love a beauty look calendar? I fell in love with so many products from last year’s calendar including the steamer, hand cream and sunscreen.

Plants and flowers – This gift never fails. Trader Joe’s has endless bouquet options and many unique and beautiful plants. The new Nordic Reindeer Tillandsia is gorgeous!

Brazil Nut Trio – A summer favorite, now in gift form! The fragrance is known as a dupe for Sol de Janeiro. The body cream is delicious and the body mist and body oil are new to the range.

Pound Plus bar – Gift your favorite chocolate lover a kilo of chocolate – Literally. The seasonal version of this giant bar is made with milk chocolate and topped with caramel, sea salt and pretzel bites.

Advent calendars – A fun option for kids and pets (yes, they have calendars for dogs and cats 🐾).

Cinnamon Swizzle Sticks – These are so much fun! Give them a DIY hot chocolate set or your loved one’s favorite coffee or tea.

Felt wool – These cozy woolly cookies usually come in holiday-themed colors, but this year, you can pop some in neutral colors for a gift!

What is your favorite Trader Joe’s holiday product?

What are you most excited to see return? Let me know in the comments so I can add it to my shopping list too ❤️.
