Have you ever noticed how your skin still feels a little dirty after a long day – even when you already washed? Between SPF, makeup, sweat (hi, summer!) And pollution, a quick cleaning simply doesn’t cut it.

Once upon a time, soap and water (or a quick stroke with a face trash) was considered enough. But now we know better: If you really want to hit all the gunk, funk and trash without stripping your skin from its natural oils, you need a new approach.

The answer? Double cleaning (Our go-to do for these days makeup and SPF!).

Because cleaning is not enough

Throughout the day, airborne bacteria, pollution, sweat and excessive oil accumulate on your skin. Then add the makeup and sunscreen. If all these things are not washed properly, they can contribute to:

  • Premature aging
  • Coloration
  • Annoying outbursts

… also known as The Skincare Villains that we would all prefer to avoid.

That is why double cleaning is the gold standard. It cleanses the stubborn impurities that close resources, which often leave behind a clean clean.

What exactly is double cleaning?

Double cleaning means washing your face twice:

  • Step 1: with one Oil -based cleanser (To melt the dirt based on oil such as sunscreen, flock and makeup).
  • Step 2: with one Water -based cleaner (To scan the impurities based on non -oil such as sweat, dirt and remaining residues).

Then the skin feels cleaner, clearer and more prepared to drink serums, moisturists and oils.

Double cleaning for your skin type

Like most things in skin care, this is not a rautine-all-all-dealo. The second cleaning is where you can target your skin concerns.

  • Dry or mature skin: Clean with moisturizing, nutrient types in plump and comfort.
  • Oily or blunt-honest in skin: Choose by clarifying the products to balance sebum and calm inflammation.
  • Sensitive skin: Stick to soft, dam -friendly formulas that soothe while cleaning.

Quick Tip: Excessive cleaning can be reversed. You are too late for your oil and your body can draw more, leading to breakouts or irritation.

How to double cleaning (the Woohoo way)

Step One: Start with Deep Cleansing Cloud 9

Each good double cleaning begins with a oil -based formula. Why? Because oil attracts oil, which means that this dreamy, creamy balm melts long spf, makeup, sebum and dirt of the day as a charm. Massage on dry skin, add water to emulsify and rinse to reveal a soft, nutrient skin that is perfectly prepared for the second round.

Step Two: Follow me with Gel Cleansing Gel Charcoal

Once the balm has lifted the dirt of the day, the gel enters to wipe the rest: sweat, dirt and annoying poros oil cannot grab. With micellar technology and coal working in parallel, your skin gets a detailed but mild clean that lets you feel fresh, balanced and ready to enjoy the rest of your routine.

But this is not the only way ….

Our favorite twins double cleaning

Now for the fun part – fits your cleaning on your skin. Everyone’s skin has different needs, so the best double cleansing twin is not a size-it all overcomes everything. Think about it as a mixer and skin care match: Start with oil or balm to melt the day, then follow with the second step that fits your skin type.

Here are our favorite pairs of double cleaning:

The classic (for normal, oily or spots prone to skin)

Cloud 9 Deep Cleaning Balm + Have this Sun Cleaning Gock

The absolute “deep clean” twin. The cloud 9 melts the SPF, makeup and flock, while the gel cleanses the sweat and dirt of Poros. It leaves the skin fresh, balanced and resistant to unblocking.

The soft (for dry, mature or sensitive skin)

3 Cheers Cleansing Oil + Tickled Pink clarifying fog

A softer, relaxing choice. The oil dissolves the day without stripping, and beats pink renewed with aloe and kneads for a sedative finish.

Tip: Even if the pink sting is a fog, the fruits of fermented + willow bark give it a mild (and unusual) push.

Bonus Tip: The facial moisturizing rainfall also doubles as a refreshing second cleaning or post-cleaner hydration hydration!

If you are not sure where to start, the Cloud 9 + Charcoal Gel is our favorite twin and fits the majority of skin types.

When should you clean double?

Double cleaning is brilliant after long days, when you wear makeup, sunscreen or have come to the elements. It helps to make sure you have removed everything, not just the superficial dirt.

But if you had a day without indoor makeup, a gentle clean clean is often plenty. The idea is not to complicate your routine. Is to give your skin the best clean when it really needs it.

We recommend that you keep it for your night routineWhen your skin has a whole day of dirt to throw. In the morning, a single mild cleaning (or just a water dip) is usually abundant.

Are you ready to give your face the pure of his life? Choose the perfect double cleansing twin and let your skin drink Woohoo’s kindness.

Happy cleaning, woohoo-ers!
