Have you heard of Beta-Glykan?

If you are someone who reads ingredients, shops for clean beauty products and wants your skin care to get you remarkable results, you know how it goes.

You probably have at the time you stand in the skin treadmill or looking at a shopping page asking: But that really works?

At CV Skinlabs, we know that you want clean beauty products with non -irritating ingredients and that you want to avoid all these chemicals that find it difficult to promote your skin care. But we also know that you want natural ingredients that are supported by real results and so we have chosen beta-glucan as a key part of our therapeutic types.

Although not as known as retinol or hyaluronic acid, beta-glycan offers just as impressive benefits, especially for sensitive, anxiety or dry skin. In this post, we help you understand exactly what this ingredient is, where it comes from and why it is exactly what your skin needs.

What is Beta-Glycan?

Beta-glycan is a naturally responding polysaccharide (a type of sugar molecule) located on the cell walls of certain plants, fungus, yeast and seeds. It looks of course in springs such as oats, barley, mushrooms, algae and even baker’s yeast. (In CV Skinlabs, we use gluten -free oats in all our formulas.)

Depending on where you take your beta-glycan, it may behave a little differently. For example, he has been studied extensively he was extensively studied on the properties of his wounds. For skin care products, it is more often extracted from oats or mushrooms because these molecules are easily recognized and absorbed by the skin.

You may have heard that you can use oats to calm itching or irritated skin. It is actually the beta-glucan in the oats that does most of the work when it comes to repairing, rejuvenating and calm skin.

Initially, manufacturers recognized beta-glykani exclusively with the effects of immunosuppression. Later, however, they discovered its many benefits when applied locally to the skin.

Why did we choose beta-glucan for CV SKINLABS

Our mission to CV Skinlabs has always been to create safe, efficiently, cultivating skin care products that help recover the skin and make a healthier and youthful look. We took a lot of time looking at each ingredient, as we wanted to ensure that it would not only be safe for sensitive skin, but would help to make our products effectively.

Beta-glycan is perfectly aligned with our philosophy to support the natural processes of skin and not crush them. Does not cover problems or provides temporary corrections. It works at the cellular level to help enhance, protect and rejuvenate the skin from the inside out.

What does beta-glycan do for your skin?

Below, we have mentioned some of the most powerful benefits that Beta-Glucan can have on your skin.

1. Deep hydration (even better than hyaluronic acid)

Beta-glucan is a humid, which means it helps to attract and engage water to your skin. Similar to hyaluronic acid, it helps maintain moisture on the skin, making it at least likely to dry throughout the day.

Even better, because the ingredient is easily accepted by the skin, it can sink into the deeper layers, providing moisture there, creating a protective membrane on the surface to trap moisture. If you deal with tight, dry or thin skin, this ingredient can help restore a smoother, cooler look.

2. Strengthens the skin barrier

The outer layer of skin is its first line of defense. Over time, this layer can be jeopardized by pollution, excessive investigation, weather and aging. It can develop cracks and breaks that make it less capable of keeping moisture or protecting the skin from external invaders or irritating.

Beta-glucan helps to repair and enhance this barrier by stimulating the production of basal lipids (fat) and proteins that hold the skin cells together. It helps the skin to maintain moisture and exclude irritants, which leads to healthier, more durable skin.

3. Crushed and relaxes sensitive skin

Beta-glucan can help naturally reduce redness, inflammation and discomfort. That is why it is often used in formulas made for after recovery or very thin skin.

The ingredient interacts with immune cells on the skin to help to tame the immune response. If your skin is red and irritated, for example, due to environmental stress or general wear and tear, beta-glucan can help keep it calm and comfortable.

4. It promotes wound healing and repair of the skin

You may not realize it, but your skin is constantly working to be repaired. Often, during overnight stays, while resting, it determines all the problems it has encountered during the day. Beta-Glykani helps support this acceleration process of recovery from wounds, cuts and burns, encouraging cell turnover and collagen production.

This means that it is ideal for those who deal with damaged skin, either caused by acne, cosmetic treatments or chronic dryness. Especially when applied at night, it provides the skin the support it needs to be more effectively regenerated.

5. Strengthens collagen and reduces signs of aging

Due to its ability to stimulate collagen and enhance skin repair, beta-glucan also helps to smooth out fine lines and improve the elasticity of the skin. Used regularly, it can promote more stable, younger skin. Because it helps maintain moisturizing deep on the skin at the same time, it naturally fills fine lines and improves texture without the need for hard products against aging.

6. Provides antioxidant protection

Free radicals are unstable molecules of pollution, stress, inner metabolism and exposure to the sun that can break the skin cells and accelerate aging. Beta-glucan is actually a type of antioxidant, which means that it helps to eliminate these free radicals before they can cause damage.

It is probably not antioxidant you have heard, but when combined with vitamin E, it helps to defend the integrity of your skin and helps to remain strong and vibrant.

Nature + Science = Radiant Skin

At CV Skinlabs, we believe that nature often possesses the keys to strong treatment and that science helps us to unlock these benefits. Beta-Glucan is a perfect example of a natural ingredient supported by scientific research, providing results that you can see and feel.

It is one of the reasons why our customers tell us that their skin feels better, it looks healthier and becomes more durable after using our products.

The skin care should not be tough. You deserve products that are clean, cultivated and effective. The next time you scan a list of ingredients, look for beta-glucan. We’ve included it in trusting CV Skinlabs so you can feel confident that it works hard behind the scenes to bring you closer to the radiant, beautiful skin.
