The balsamic strawberries have been tossed over the thick, lemon yogurt – a dessert that feels like an eye for cheesecake, but lighter, tagir and ready in a matter of minutes. It is high in protein, low effort and just the right kind of sweet to finish (or start) the day.

Strawberry Cheesecake’s little sister

It has the same creamy charm, the same sweet balance and tart, the same way to catch the light exactly on a glass plate-but it is lighter on its feet. A little tanger. I’m not trying so hard. Strawberry cheesecake’s little sister does not need a Cracker Graham crust or a water bath. They are just balsamic strawberries with lemon yogurt, and in some way, this is more than enough.

This is the kind you are plaguing when you want something for forgiving, but your body is asking for a little more intention. Something with protein. Something on purpose. But still, something you will stand on the bench by eating with the same savagery as a cake sole.

Strawberries take their edge from a short soothing soak in balsamic – enough time to overcome their inner drama. This magic syrupy swirls in lemon yogurt, thick and rich, the species that adheres to the spoon and does not apologize for it. Greek style, stretched. There is no cream, no sugar collision, no reason not to do this every day of the week.

It’s a recipe, for sure – but really, it’s a mentality. This nutrient can also decline. This simple does not mean boring. That you can throw a handful of ingredients together in just 10 minutes and you still feel like you have done something worthy of a spoonful of dessert.

Because sometimes, the little sister steals the show.

  • 1 cup strawberries fresh, sliced
  • 1 Tsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 Tsp maple syrup
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt simple, zero fat
  • ¼ Tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ lemon zest
  • 3 Tbsp pistachio simple, shell, crushed

Instructions

  • Toss the strawberries with balsamic and maple and sit for 10 minutes.
  • Mix the yogurt with vanilla and heat.
  • Mattress yogurt, berries and top with nuts.
