Too Much Sun? Here Is How To Deal With Sunburn,

We’re all there. You go out for a little fun in the sun, you are completely planning to re -submit sunscreen … and then life happens. Maybe it was the beach, a barbecue with friends, or just a “fast” sitting in the sun that turned into a random marathon marathon.

Now your skin is bright red, screaming SOS, and you feel like hydrated as raisins in the desert. Yikes.

Before going to a frantic google spree for “how to stop skin peeling”, take a breath. Your skin has passed a long time, but with the right care (and a little woohoo’s magic), you can be hospitalized back to its happy, glamorous self.

What really happens when you get solar fuels?

Let’s start with some hot (punching) events about how the awesome red layer begins:

  1. UVA and UVB rays from the sun penetrate your skin and begin to cause dummy in its DNA. This forces the blood vessels to expand and activate inflammatory chemicals in the skin, also known as redness and swelling called sunburn.
  2. Exposure to ultraviolet radiation creates free radicals, the annoying small molecules attacking the healthy cells of your skin.
  3. The natural obstacle of your skin – the superhero that maintains hydration and gust – gets compromised, leaving it dehydrated, sensitive and struggles to be repaired. That is why your skin feels tight, dry and oh-so-angry.

Self -help tips for Sunburnt Skin

The sunburn usually sticks for about a week, peeling with starting to the end. If you have blisters, the healing process may be a little more (and yes, you will want to resist the desire to open them). The good news is that your skin is extremely durable, and with some TLC, you can help it bounce faster.

Step 1: Cool it (literally)

Your first move after sunburn? Relax!! No, really.

  • Get a cool rinse: It is not icy water (ouch!) But jumping into a nice, cool shower or applying a cool compression to the skin is an easy medicine that can be done immediately after exposure after the sun.
  • Apply aloe, baby: Aloe Vera is a classic for a reason. It is soothing, anti -inflammatory and wonders on excessively baked skin. Bonus Tip? Store it in the refrigerator for a little extra Ahhh.
  • You have oatmeal bath: Do you feel lazy? Fill your bathtub with lukewarm water (anything warmer will worsen your solar burn) and throw in some oatmeal and some milk to combat inflammation and cool skin just outside.

Step 2: Hydro and support

Sunburn lets your skin shout for hydration. Here’s how to answer the call:

  • Drink: Always notice that you feel extra thirsty when your skin looks crisp? This is due to the fact that an sunburn attracts liquid to the surface of the skin and removes it from the rest of the body. Consuming extra water after Sunburn is important so that you can redo the skin from the inside out.
  • Slater in the serums: Solar skin, especially on the face, is weird. It is sensitive, dry and needs all the love it can get. Enter our Fg serum 03. Packed with hyaluronic acid hydration hyaluronic acid and soothing ingredients, such as fermented noni and wild indigo, erased thirsty patches, relaxes redness and guard against water loss while your skin is inflammatory. For your body, ours Hyaluronian body serenity It is a super light, highly hydrated moisturizing gel that is ideal for after sunset care. The sensitive formula that loves the skin is extremely mild and filled with hyaluronic acid and Aloe vera juice to support the skin layer.
  • Wear loose clothes: Sweatpants ftw. Tight clothes and comfortable straps can slap, creating painful blisters on the skin that has already been damaged. Choose loose clothes – we love cool bamboo mixtures because they keep your skin cool and do not attach.

Hot Tip: Avoid exfoliation, retinols and astringent graphite while your skin is cured. Sunburned Skin = inflammatory skin, so skip anything that can exacerbate it further.

Step 3: Stop circle

Do you want to avoid another sunburn? Here’s your play plan:

  • SPF always: When they are out, always (and we always mean!) Use a sunscreen wide range with SPF 30 or higher, applying 15 minutes before sun exposure. Repeat every two hours (or earlier if you swim or sweating).
  • Masking: Hats, sunnies, cool long sleeve, umbrellas and sit in the shade where possible are the MVPs of your sun.

If you are dealing with a large sunburn, multiple blisters or even fever (yup, this can happen!), It’s time to call your dermatologist or doctor. They can guide you on how to properly care for your skin and watch the risk of long -term damage. Stay safe in the sun, everyone! 🌞
