Hello friends! it’s the weekend! What happens; It’s Liv’s dance recital, and then dance season is officially over, and other than that, we’ll be swimming and chilling with friends. I hope you have a fun and relaxing weekend ahead!
(Love all that extra time with the crew)
It’s time for the weekly Friday Faves party! Here I share some of my favorite finds from the week and around the web. I always love to hear about your favorites too, so shout out something you love in the comments section below.
(We had some friends over last weekend and this is the giant cheese board of the evening)
6.7 Gift Faves Faves + Gratitude
Read, watch, listen:
I started watching Queen Charlotte again on the plane home, and it’s even better the second time.
This made me lol (husband is so sweet too)
What are your childhood habits?
Fashion, Home, + Beauty:
Farm Rio is one of my favorite brands right now. I have stocked up for our trip to Hawaii 🙂 Here’s one I added to the collection lately!
If you haven’t tried it face mask with honey enzyme still, it’s so good. I love the texture and a little goes a long way. I feel like it’s a very gentle, nourishing mask that I like to do 1-2 times a week and then follow it up with red light face mask.
Goodies from Creative Kind. This is my favorite local store and they basically got forced out of their lease and have to close their location. This was the perfect place for birthday and hostess gifts for friends, local Tucson candles and the best greeting cards. Their online store is still open if you want to check it out!
Garden update! When my eyes started shaking last year, I stopped gardening and basically let everything die. I was too scared to be out in the wild and in the dirt too much and feeling too down about everything. This year, Pilot planted everything for me (I think I’m allergic to something in the soil because whenever I plant, even with gloves on, I break out), and he also put in irrigation to help with the Tucson sun. HE’S LONGING. Here’s what’s on the way: tomatoes, carrots, cucumber, watermelon, cantaloupe, Swiss chard, spinach, zucchini, and basil.
Fitness, health and good nutrition:
Grilling and Traeger season is here and we’re living it. I smoked these grilled chicken legs the other night and they were amazing. It’s funny that I used to dread grilling and smoking things, and now, I’ll do it whenever I can. It makes cleaning much easier.
Danger Coffee (stay tuned, I’ll have a discount code for you soon!) I got the decaf at the Biohacking conference and it’s mild and smooth. A million times better than the gross decaf Nespresso I was drinking, plus it’s mold tested.
(I use this pour over the coffee maker; glass and stainless steel only)
