William Davis, MD, cardiologist and #1 New York Times bestselling author Wheat belly series of books, Without a doctor and, more recently, Super Gut: A four-week plan to reprogram your microbiome, Restore health and lose weight which maps the damage that has been done to the modern human microbiome and the specific steps that can be taken to restore it to maximum benefit.

Dr. Davis champions programs that empower the individual in health in a world where the health care system has failed to provide unbiased information and services. He is co-founder and Chief Medical Officer of Realize Therapeutics Corp. in Lake Bluff, Illinois, a commercial project to fund research and develop therapeutics that apply new microbiome science. He is active in various online activities, including the Wheat Belly Blog (33 million hits) which has now moved to his Dr. website Davis Infinite Health. He also transmits his message through him YouTube channel Dr. Davis Infinite Health and his own The Defiant Health Radio podcast. He remains active on social media with, for example, 400,000 followers on Facebook.

A graduate of St. Louis University School of Medicine, Dr. Davis received advanced training in cardiovascular disease and interventional procedures at Case Western Reserve University Hospitals. He lives in the suburbs of Chicago.
