Hello friends! Happy Friday! what are you doing What are you doing this weekend? We take care of our little niece Daisy, go to P’s basketball game, celebrate EJ’s birthday, and watch the Bad Bunny concert aka the Superbowl. I hope you have a great weekend ahead!
I didn’t mean to disappear here this week, but…. it was one of those weeks. I’ve been inundated with client appointments and phone calls (which I love!!) but one of the girls was sick, we found mold in our bathroom (inspectors are coming on Monday), something else happened behind the scenes (everyone is fine, but it was something we didn’t expect) aaaand my Paypal got hacked for the fourth time in a month. (Using a crazy password + an authenticator app.) I ended up canceling my account because their security has gotten really bad. So yes. That’s what happens over here. I don’t have many fun or exciting things to report lol, buuuuuuuut

in the spirit of the bright side, it’s time for the weekly Friday Faves party. Here I share some of my favorite finds from the week and around the web. I always love to hear about your favorites too, so shout out something you love in the comments section below.
2.6 Friday’s Faves
Fashion, Beauty, Random:
I’ve been looking to get a Dyson for years now, but couldn’t bring myself to spend $500 on a hair dryer. My hair is long and pretty thick and I didn’t want to spend two jeans and a cute dress on something that might not work for my hair. I’ve heard rave reviews about it Shark Flex Fusion, and when I saw it at Costco for $279, I got it. I am not exaggerating that it has already changed my life and that of my children.

It gave me a salon-worthy blowout on the first try in about 25 minutes. I used it to straighten both girls hair and it looked AMAZING. I will definitely be sharing a tutorial here on the blog soon!

Lola took her first walk! The vet gave us the all clear last week and it broke. I was worried she would think the harness and leash were attacking her, but she has been a pro since day one.
She also ate P’s homework. I showed the picture to her teacher after school – she had a good laugh – so P could get a replacement.

Read, watch, listen:
Working through this book for Candida, Metabolic and Vitamins guidance:

The new has begun Bridgerton season and I’m SO GLAD it’s back. Are you watching?!
This podcast episode was excellent. This was one of the first books I read about personal finance after college, so it was really nice to hear David Bach’s voice. (I downloaded this after listening to the podcast episode.)
Fitness, health and good nutrition:
I’m completing my first quarterly detox of the year. Although it has been a bit difficult – I wanted to face a dip in some chocolate after the Paypal debacle, let me tell you – it feels great. I haven’t slept much this week, but it was quality sleep, I had energy and it reminded me that eating lots of vegetables and fiber is good.

(detox pizza with minced chicken, lots of vegetables and tofu *cheese*)
The Lumebox sale is live!! You can get 45% off until Sunday by using this link. I use it every morning while checking email and it’s the perfect boost. I also use it for so many different things like aches and pains, period cramps,
A new rose humidifier from my friends at Canopy. Isn’t it gorgeous?! I run the Canopy humidifier every night and the girls have it in their rooms too. I think it makes a huge difference during the winter, but also because it’s so dry here in AZ. It definitely helps my skin, eyes and hair. Use FITNESSISTA here! They work incredibly well and are easy to clean, with mold inhibiting technology and you can also add fragrance with included essential oils.

If you’re looking for Superbowl recipes, try this dairy-free buffalo chicken dip!
Thanks so much for stopping by the blog today! Have a great weekend and see you soon!
xoxo
